A brief history

Koppal is famous for temples & Lakes. Located  about 380 km from Bangalore,  the Capital city of Karnataka.

 Koppal Town is a place of considerable historical importance. Koppal town once nown as 'Kopana Nagara' in Chandravalli Shasana. The history says Koppal is one of the district in  Hyderabad Nizamas rule.

Airport: Airports near Koppal are at Bangalore about 380 km and Belgaum about 200 km well connected by Indian Airlines      flights to most parts of India.

Rail: Koppal Railway Station is well connected by rail line to Bangalore, Hyderabad and Hubli.

Road: Buses are available from Koppal and regularly ply between here and Bangalore and other major cities of Karnataka.
